Erremme Business Advisors (Erremme) is an accountancy, business and management consultancy firm established in 2002. Erremme has since its inception been providing services to entrepreneurs, small businesses and growth companies in establishing themselves and in business growth. Erremme has now established itself as the one stop shop for start ups and small to medium sized growth companies

Team

REUBEN BUTTIGIEG - MANAGING DIRECTOR

Reuben is the managing director of the company. Apart from his responsibilities as managing director Reuben has a direct involvement in the Corporate Finance and consultancy services provided by Erremme to its local and foreign clients.

Reuben is currently Council Member, Honorary Treasurer and Memberships Committee Chairman of the Malta Institute of Management

He is also director of MIM Training and Development Limited.

Reuben is a regular contributor in the Maltese newspapers (Maltese and English Language papers). He generally treats topics related to entrepreneurship, small and growth businesses. Reuben is also a contributor in the Management Journal of the Malta Institute of Management and has occasionally contributed in foreign specialised magazines.

Reuben is an experienced business and management consultant who has worked with two of the Big Four accountancy and audit firms, namely, Ernst & Young (Malta and Milan) and KPMG. Reuben has also worked in various industries in the Maltese Islands and abroad.

In his drive to help, encourage and promote entrepreneurship in Malta, Reuben has helped in the publicising and launching of the first business angel network in Malta. Reuben was also on the council of the Civil Europe Association, an association whose main aim was to disseminate information on EU related matters to SMEs.

Reuben has conducted various due diligences as well as audits and consultancy work both in Malta as well as in Milan during his previous employment with Ernst & Young.

RUTH BUTTIGIEG - COMPANY SECRETARY

Ruth is an experienced international tax planner. She gained experienced with prominent consultancy firms in Malta. She has gained experienced also with international employers as is KPMG.

Ruth is also an experienced legal advisor particularly, in financial matters. She gained a wide experience in advising our clients. She also gained considerable legal advisory experience with prominent law firms in Malta.

Ruth is experienced in conducting legal research and in drafting legislation. Through her previous employers she was involved in the preparation of draft legislation documents on behalf of the Maltese Government.

Ruth is currently, also acting as deputy defender of the bond within the Metropolitan Ecclesiastical Tribunal of Malta.

STEVE FENECH - CONSULTANT

Steve, together with Reuben is in charge of the Corporate Finance Services and the Audit and Accountancy Services provided by Erremme.

Steve is an experienced management consultant who has worked with two of the Big Four accountancy and audit firms, namely, KPMG (Manchester and Malta) and Price Waterhouse (now Price Waterhouse Coopers). Steve worked also for short spells in Italy.

Steve has also has fifteen years Financial Management experience with prominent Maltese Group of Companies. These roles typically involved the preparation of budgets, business plans, feasibility studies, project costing and cash management, as well as the preparation of statutory financial statements and returns.

Steve is also an experienced qualified accountant and auditor. He conducted various audits on International Clients as well as local clients. Steve has also worked as a sole practitioner for a number of years.

FRANCO BORG - CONSULTANT

Franco is an experienced management and financial consultant who has worked with two of the Big Four accountancy and audit firms, namely, Ernst & Young and Coopers and Lybrand. He has also worked in other industries in the Maltese Islands as well as abroad.

Over 12 years of diverse experience in the fields of external and internal audit, finance, and HR management. Franco has worked in Italy and Ireland for a big four Audit Firm on the audits of a number of public quoted companies and held senior management positions with multinational companies in the Bahamas, Italy and Oman.

Franco has a high level of experience in providing financial management consultancy, external and internal audit services. He specialises in providing advisory services, development of management systems procedures, development of business process models, implementation of leading edge methodologies to assess controls and identify related risks and development of balance scorecard.
